Shirley Weaver Ministries is a Christian ministry exalting Jesus Christ as Lord. Our corporate name, A CLEAR TRUMPET, INC refers to both literal and symbolic expressions of the trumpet in the Bible as God speaks direction and warning to His people (1 Corinthians 14:8).
Throughout Bible and human history God has spoken prophetically to men concerning current and future events, thereby equipping them for a right response. This is also our purpose in ministry outreach, accomplished through Kingdom discipleship and intercession.
Established in 1989, A Clear Trumpet, Inc a/k/a Shirley Weaver Ministries is a tax exempt, nonprofit religious organization, recognized by the United StatesDepartment of the Treasury/IRS in accordance with its 501 (c) (3) status guidelines; a nonprofit charter is filed with the South Carolina Secretary of State. Founder and president, Shirley Weaver holds ministerial credentials of ordination. A financial Board of Trustees governs the ministry, assisted by a Certified Public Accountant whose annual compilation is available upon request. A Board of Advisors & Elders provides spiritual oversight and accountability.
The Mission
Our mission is to disciple and mentor in such a way that produces mature Christians with a sense of personal destiny in the purposes of God and a lifestyle that honors and glorifies Him.
The Vision
Calling for restoration of a Biblical worldview, one with relevance within the Church and beyond, our teaching ministry is based upon the necessary commitment to Scripture for spiritual growth, and a spirit of personal excellence to effect personal growth.
Those who support our ministry appreciate the proven spiritual leadership and personal level of excellence with which we conduct our mission. Every outreach of Shirley Weaver Ministries proceeds from a regard for excellence that is then communicated by example to others in church and non-church applications.
Outreach is primarily via small groups, making disciples who learn and receive the life of Jesus as the pattern for their own and subsequently mentoring many disciples for leadership roles.
Two areas of priority are ministry 1) to the family and 2) to leaders; in both, stressing the importance of looking beyond the present to discern the Holy Spirit’s emphasis on things to come – a future consideration with prophetic emphasis.
We view the family as the critical unit of the church and the logical platform to transform the culture. We encourage parents to build a family altar in the home, preempting potential crises situations with set-apart, quality time when the father and mother train their children from the Word of God and where a protective prayer canopy over the home is established.
We minister to those in the marketplace with prayerful support for critical decision-making and thoughtful counsel to leaders, encouraging them to invite the presence of God into every event of their workday.
This ministry’s growth and ever-broadening base is strengthened through expanding media formats for audio and video recordings. A website and e-mail newsletters provide accessible, easy to use event reinforcement – an extension of ministry to those outside the local area. Several in-depth publications have completion dates in the near future.
Nationally, we network with other church and ministries, allowing more efficient use of resources. Sustained prayer for protection and support of government leaders is ongoing, as is the work with the trans local church affiliations through which we supply ministry teams to other nations.
With faithful financial partners and passionate prayer at the heart of all we do, the goal is to increasely transform this generation and the next through discipleship messages and outreach.
