If the challenge today is physical—for you or someone you care about—remember this: God sent his Word to heal. The Word is your weapon against disease or anything that opposes God’s plan for your vibrant health.

Think clearly. The very essence of sickness is deceptive, so guard your heart. God the Word became God the Son; He became flesh and dwelt among us! Jesus is the living Word and as you read aloud and meditate in the written Word, your human spirit is saturated with its healing power.

Meditation in the Word produces confidence in God—the opposite of confidence in the power of sickness to control you. Every threat to physical health should be answered with belief that God’s provision for healing is absolute, supreme, and completely triumphant.

What you believe matters. To believe is to release God’s power, but unbelieffundamentally opposes Jesus’ mission of healing and deliverance. Unbelief is not just another opinion; it is its own opinion, a rejection of God’s covenant plan. The result of unbelief is more unbelief.

Settle it in your heart that Jesus came to give life, that God sent His Son the Word to heal all sickness and all disease. Whatever the challenge, make God’s Word your final authority and make your plans according to that Word.

Belief in God’s Word is the medicine you need.

Amen.
