The Lord has assigned you to certain tasks and specific areas as you minister to those in your sphere of influence. Your assignment is practical and achievable and produces the fruit of joy and fulfillment in the area the Lord has sent you to—on assignment! Your assignment is like the specific task a military pilot might have: The pilot’s responsibility includes an overall sense of the task of flying an aircraft; but in a more specific way, the pilot’s assignment also includes a specific aircraft, a certain geographical area, and changes in both over time. As with the pilot, your assignment includes specifics that define who you are and what you do, as well as where, and when. This two-part message is from the 2011 Roundtable Discipleship Series.
