“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
Specifically, note the thing you ask of the Lord and look carefully when the answer begins to come. Note specifics of your prayer and match those to specifics of His answer. When you do, you’ll see the extent of His moving on your behalf.
The heart is a special place for the Lord’s goodness to dwell and grow, expand, and overflow such that you and I become an overflow of His goodness, including answers to prayer. Recognizing His goodness in the form of specific answers to prayer and instances of divine intervention on your behalf causes the heart’s capacity for love and outreach to grow, becoming more like Him.
He answered your prayer today and will tomorrow. Watch for it.
Amen.
