Equipped To Rise Above It

We all face difficult situations and have learned to refuse being led by heartache—we know to shift into a different perspective. 

Without the Lord, a person experiencing difficulty can be pitiful, really. The blow-by-blow story of their ordeal is exhausting. They tend to think everything is about them. They are selfish. They want it fixed yesterday. They’re rattled by anything that interrupts their routine and life as they know it. They think their burden is unique. They cannot get out of the hole because they will not stop digging. All of that energy invested in rehearsing negatives over and over. Worst of all, they’re religious, sometimes spiritual, but never able to find the power switch. 
 
Don’t be like that. Stand up. Don’t wallow. Stop thinking about it. Do your best. Serve others as sincerely as you can. Don’t forget to make provision for you, so you’re not worn to a frazzle. You can do this. You can do it well! Continue declaring faith. Your part is to “believe God.” His part is to do the work—trust Him. 
 
One thing about difficulty—it’s common to all. No one is exempt. It is tempting to feel sorry for yourself when the water is troubled but remember the Lord in you is greater than any difficult experience. The person who is born from above—who is born again—knows the Lord personally and has unlimited use of His Name! 
 
The born-again believer is completely equipped through the power of God’s Word combined with true spiritual prayer to rise above any and every difficulty.
