He Healed Them

The synagogue leader appealed to Jesus and the life of his dying daughter was restored. A woman infirmed for twelve years touched His garment and was instantly delivered from her infirmity and its deteriorating effects. Two blind men asked Jesus for mercy, and four blind eyes opened! Another man, mute from birth, received his miracle when Jesus cast out the demon cause, a public event observed by religious men stalking Jesus, looking to accuse Him.
 
Healing deliverances in the Bible were demonstrations of God’s love lavished upon the people, a force that religionists were powerless to stop. In Jesus’s ministry many kinds of healings took place, and Jesus said laborers were needed to bring in this harvest; the harvest he referred to was a harvest of all kinds of healings. Jesus said His disciples should ask God for laborers, for people to pray for anyone who is sick, proclaiming the authority of God’s Word for healing to every generation, despite objections from unbelieving religionists. 
 
This healing harvest Jesus described is consistent with the message He lived. People came to Him with all kinds of afflictions, and the Bible records a corresponding harvest—a healing harvest—healing for each kind of affliction. Even when there were too few workers, since not many really knew God’s power, Jesus healed them anyway, regardless of religious dictates to the contrary. There is no lack in God’s desire to heal because healing is a covenant provision. The only lack is people-laborers who believe the message.   
 
“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news (the Gospel) of the kingdom and curing all kinds of disease and every weakness and infirmity.”  (Matthew 9:35-38, AMP)
