When you pray, put today’s most important intercession at the center of one circle; everything else, assign to a second circle. Now, with your spirit envision the Lord in the center of each circle. Move distractions aside and with the Lord prominently in the center, begin to pray!
Enthrone Him as Lord. Do it with praise! Get up out of your seat and go for it! Build a throne for Him. Step into the hiding place of His power and establish His Lordship over people, places, and things. Allow the strength of all of that to come inside you; let it settle down into your human spirit so that your spirit becomes “as he is!”
Start to pray into your critical circle. Address everything to the center—to the one enthroned there. Magnify His greatness over every detail. Exalt His goodness over threat or imagination. Repent of dragging up old, emotional, and relational wars. Tear down the images built by fear and fear’s expectation of loss. Create a different one—create an expectation consistent with what is taking place where God is.
Now, pray into the second circle. Spread your spiritual wings and take off! People on opposite sides of the world from you need your spiritual intercessions. Gather portions and send to those who have none. Many cannot wait another day for a breakthrough—their lives are in the balance; they cannot win this alone, but you can pray them through, and into, supernatural provision.
Now, check yourself—the thing you feared the most has left you—gone! Perfect love casts out all fear. There is no greater love than this—that a man lay down his own life for someone else. That’s what prayer is. Laying down your life. Selah!
Now, establish it—establish all that God has for both circles, saturated with life, teaming with things that could not have been if you had not prayed. Insist in the spirit against everything that rivals His Kingdom come, and His will done.
Amen.
