After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”  (Revelation 4:1)

The aging apostle John, exiled on Patmos for his faith, was entirely alone when he heard a voice that called him upward with an invitation to be shown “things to come”, things that must take place in the future.

Heaven’s message to John was the Revelation of the Son of God, the same powerful prophetic gift given to every believer. Today we hear the same voice John heard and that same Spirit calls us . . . come up!

Especially now, in this time, see to it that your spirit remains strong. The soul makes demands of you and the flesh even more, but the voice of the Lord is heard in the heart—in the spirit of man. That call is always upward. Always higher.

Release your faith concerning the good things God has in store for you. Prophetic unction is vital for every fresh revelation and like John, who heard the voice and was “immediately in the Spirit” likewise, when you hear His prompting, understand that because Jesus the prophet lives in you and He is speaking, you can hear clearly and receive what he says to you.

Amen.
