Yom Kippur | Day of Atonement
10 Tishrei, 5780
Today is Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, the most solemn day of the Jewish year and the second of three fall feasts of the New Year 5780 which just began with Rosh Hashanah.
Compelled by the love of our God, we pray in solidarity with our Jewish brothers on this Yom Kippur. We join with them according to the prayer-call given the Hebrew nation.
Sh’ma Yisrael Adonai Elohaynu Adonai Echad.
Hear, O Israel: the Lord our G-d, the Lord is One.Barukh Shem k’vod malkhuto l’olam va-ed
