Two things are important to my progress: First, that I have sufficient faith to continually see what is ahead based upon what God’s Word has to say concerning that; and second, that I have sufficient confidence in what I believe to stand no matter what storm I face. To have one but not the other is to sideline my call to dominate in the spirit with prayer that leads to actions here on earth. Daily I demonstrate the Kingdom—on assignment from the One who is the Kingdom.
A mandate to influence others has been given to me. No question. That mandate stands or falls every day, depending on the two things mentioned—faith to believe and faith to stand. If I glance outside the ark at rising waves, or grasp counsel from others as to what to do next, my hold may lessen; but with revelation of who I am, my purpose in God, and of His Word, the waves nor the crowd move me.
Faith is not belief, nor is it hope. Faith is revelation of the written Word, activated in my heart daily to build upon that which I hope for and reward what I believe. Faith does not move with the wind—on a whim or under threat; rather, faith is the real thing, operating above the storm with divine perspective from my seat in heavenly places—right beside the Lord.
What did the Lord say? Stay with that. Keep moving.
