Government insures order and accountability, makes secure, and establishes a foundation to build upon. Every person governs in some way, and those who govern are also expected to submit to being governed on some level.
Every Christian has spiritual authority to govern. Each has governmental authority in spiritual matters, in a spiritual sense. The believer’s spiritual authority includes leadership within prescribed boundaries, and within those boundaries, authority does and should include headship. In the Church those with specific governing gifts are God’s provision for specific leadership roles in His Church.
Look around you, in every area, spiritually and otherwise:
Who is in the place of authority?
Who is decisively leading?
Who has a leadership mantle and God-given authority to govern?
