And Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.” (Genesis 22:5)
At the center of everything that is going on, pressure has a voice—subtle at first, then demanding we conform to it. Experience teaches us that to yield to that voice, for even one minute, doesn’t help. Yielding adds even more pressure, followed by warfare and Satan’s attempt to discredit your true voice of authority, your final word in any and every trial—God’s Word.
Reverse all that! Reverse pressure—turn it back! Refuse to conform to it. Resist its demand to disbelieve. You have authority to determine your boundaries—your voice is the authority, and you say how it will be. You speak to the mountain of pressure, and it obeys!
Faith speaks now—right now! Throughout the process, all along the way, at every crossroads, beginning to end. Your faith presides over your life, speaking the final say in the matter. Faith predicts the desired result.
Our words spoken in faith are backed by divine power. They stand guard against every enemy intruder. Jesus is author (the beginning) and the finisher (the end) of our faith. He is our entrance as we begin and the amen as we finish. He has the last word.
So, go ahead and speak it! Don’t wait for pressure’s next demand. Instead, you speak. You declare the end, receive the end, the desired outcome of your faith.
Abraham said to the servants, “the lad and I will come back to you.”
Amen—the end is better!
