Many people realize the spiritual contest that exists for the heart of the family and have given their lives to turning their bloodline away from curse and toward blessing. Their life is like the line drawn in the sand—not only do they stand in the gap for their family, but their commitment and determination place them squarely in the enemy’s crosshairs. 

If you are one of the many with this mission, you’ll need a disciplined strategy. Don’t consider every tiny detail and possibility; instead, choose three points at a time—to move you from “all over the place” to a locked-in focus. Three things you know you have sufficient faith for because your faith is absolutely necessary to leverage small steps for the big picture outcome you envision. 

Anyone can handle three things at a time, but few people can master everything… all at once. Stretched thin across multiple concerns, you likely wouldn’t recognize the Lord’s moving in response to your prayers, intercessions, and efforts to see your family delivered, and likely will therefore begin each day like you’re starting all over, unaware of the momentum you have actually built beyond that starting point. 

You need to identify three things that are most important. Write them. Post them. Zero-in. Pray big prayers! When the three are accomplished, choose another three… then three more. By faith and patience, inherit the promises and the promised outcome!
