People of Christian principle have unusual grace and special wisdom. With strong core values and skill to speak in the spirit of truth, their words convey substance and confidence, their lives an example for others to follow. Christians and non-Christians together, sharing basic and common-sense regard for life—for the gift of life—stand in opposition to upside-down philosophies that threaten life and do not prosper a people or civilization.
“When the queen of Sheba heard of Solomon’s fame, she came to Jerusalem to test him with hard questions. She arrived with a large group of attendants and a great caravan of camels loaded with spices, large quantities of gold, and precious jewels. When she met with Solomon, she talked with him about everything she had on her mind. Solomon had answers for all her questions; nothing was too hard for him to explain to her.” (2 Chronicles 9:1-2, NLT)
Our words must be clear. Strengthened by prayer. Tempered with humility. Persuasive and compelling.
Amen.
